UAE President's visit to Japan postponed due to worsening Middle East situation
Chief Cabinet Secretary Minoru Kihara announced at a press conference on February 3rd that the visit of United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed bin Salman, originally scheduled for February 8-10, has been postponed. This is believed to be due to the escalating situation in Iran. The Japanese government announced in December last year that the visit would be postponed.
