Real estate giant Emaar to set new record for sales and profits in 2025

Emaar Properties, Dubai's largest real estate developer, announced its full-year financial results for 2025 on February 12, revealing that it had achieved record highs in sales, profits, and contract value.

Thanks to further acceleration in residential demand in Dubai, sales increased 40% year-on-year to AED 496 billion (approximately JPY 1.984 trillion). With strong performance across the board in its core businesses, pre-tax profit increased 36% year-on-year to AED 257 billion (approximately JPY 1.28 trillion). Annual real estate transaction value also increased 16% year-on-year to a record high of AED 804 billion (approximately JPY 3.216 trillion). The company stated, "Growth was driven by our strategic focus on quality and sustainability, as well as strong demand for our flagship communities."

In addition, the company's order backlog, which will be the pillar of future profits, has increased 39% from the end of last year to AED 155 billion (approximately JPY 6.2 trillion), and transparency of its medium- to long-term performance has also increased.In light of the company's strong performance, the company's board of directors has recommended maintaining dividends equivalent to 100% of its capital.

By business unit, Emaar Development, which handles domestic development, recorded a 9% increase in contract value to AED 711 billion (approximately JPY 2.844 trillion) compared to the previous year. Overall sales from the domestic real estate development business, which includes large-scale projects such as Dubai Creek Harbour, reached AED 364 billion (approximately JPY 1.456 trillion).
