UAE strengthens presence as food supply chain hub

Amid challenges facing the global food system, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is positioning itself as a global hub for the food supply chain, thanks to its strategic location and world-class infrastructure.
The government is integrating agriculture, production, logistics, and retail through the "Food Cluster Economy" initiative led by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, and is promoting private-sector-led systems and businesses to strengthen competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth.
Experts say the UAE's safe and reliable logistics environment makes it a valuable food supply hub amid global challenges such as price fluctuations and supply instability.
